Band founder Tim “Too Slim” Langford is an incendiary guitarist who references every stylist from Lightnin’ Hopkins to Johnny Winter as he rips through an ass-shaking repertoire of blues, roots-rock, rockabilly, and surf music. His co-conspirators include Dave “Groove Master” Nordstrom bass/vocals, and John Cage drums, a tireless rhythm machine who’s been keeping the party going for decades. Regional cult favourites who have gradually earned a national reputation for their outstanding live shows, the Taildraggers deliver barroom boogie with swagger and grit.
