The album has 12 songs which are individual personal memoirs chronicling the ups and downs of life. As someone who battles with depression, the ups and downs can be extreme.
The seesaw on the album cover depicts the inevitability of the downs in life that can't be stopped. More importantly though, the seesaw reminds me of the effort required to go up again!
